• Vilene® is a blue monofilament of Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF) and is a non-Absorbable suture.
• Vilene® is physiologically inert and has very high tensile strength.
• Vilene® has extremely low memory and low elongation profile, which provides for excellent handling and knotting properties.
• Vilene® could be used as an alternative suture to the very expensive ePTFE suture.
• Sterilised by gamma irradiation, this smooth, fray-free, and supple product is suitable for all surgical procedures where non-absorbable monofilaments can be used.
• Available with Reverse Premium Cutting, Reverse Cutting, Round Bodied Taper, Round Bodied Acute Taper and Fineline Cutting needles.
